Committee member Lachlan Falconer has been appointed membership secretary. This new role is designed to serve all members of the club, especially ones who have joined recently. Lachie will be ensuring we know members' contact details so that all know what is happening at the club. He will also ensure the committee keeps the interests of all members in mind at all times. The club's involvement at Warbirds over Wanaka http://www.warbirdsoverwanaka.com/ is being considered. Should we have a stand and should we, as for the recent Air Games, have an aircraft on display? These are some of the questions being considered by committee member Kevin Clark. 15-Jan-2008 Sale of ZK-ETT

The committee resolved before Christmas to sell our trusty Cessna 172P, ZK-ETT. The aircraft was placed with two aircraft brokers. The highest bidder was Paul Beardsell and he has been the proud new owner since 8 Jan. Accepting Paul's bid had two advantages over the others: Not only was it the highest bid overall but there was also no broker's commission to deduct from the proceeds. And the aircraft is more likely to be left on line with the club long term with this bidder than the others.
